Making space for both the hard and the hopeful parts of foster parenting.
The Village is a welcoming and supportive space for foster parents to connect with others who understand the unique experiences of foster care. It is a place to share experiences, ask questions, find encouragement, and make space for both the hard and the hopeful parts of foster parenting.
Our monthly gatherings are centered on connection. There is no expectation to have the answers or even to share—you are welcome to simply come, listen, and spend time with others walking a similar road.
Whether you are new to foster care, have been fostering for years, or simply need a place to connect with people who get it, there is a place for you in The Village.
The Village meets monthly, on the 2nd Friday of the month, in a relaxed, informal setting at Element Church, 600 E. Carlson St. STE 201 Cheyenne, WY . Foster parents have an opportunity to connect, share, and support one another while children enjoy supervised childcare at Play City nextdoor. There is no agenda to follow and no pressure to share—just space to build relationships and be part of a supportive foster care community.
